From our Wellington Correspondent. Monday Night. DEATH OF A M.H.R. Mr Ireland, member tor Waikiba, expired yesterday morning. The House adjourned to-day in consequence, and the Government forwarded his remains per Hinomoa to Lyttelton at three o’clock to-day. SICKNESS OX PLAINS. No small concern has been caused here through a paragraph in the Patea Mail re sickness of constabulary on the Plains, The Post reproduces it. END OF SESSION. The present session is likely to come to a close very abruptly, as Parliament is sure to be prorogued next week.
