THE PAHIATUA SALE N.Z. LOAN AND MERCANTILE REPORT. The New Zealand I>oan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. report on their weekly sale field on l uetjday, when a good yarding of sheep forward to a good attendance oi 6TB. hxcept lor top lambs, prices depreciated in value from previous quotations. Ewes were only in moderate demand. Mr \Y. Hull (Kohinui) realised los 3d for a pen of shorn wether lambs. The Le Leivre Estate’s (Marima) shorn w. ther lambs sold out at los Bd. Thes*- were well-grown lambs with condition. Moderate ewe lambs were in good demand and sold up to expectations. Two-tooth wethers were dull oi sale and mostly sold out from 15s to los 9d. Ltd. report on the l’ahiatua weekly sale when fully advertised numbers of sheep were yarded and once again an overflow yarding of pigs were offered to a good attendance of Manawatu and local buyers. Our Company yarded 1546 sheep mainly comprising lambs, and. with the exception ot one |*eii they report a total clearance under ibe hammer. The top white face shorn lambs oi their offering were purciurscd by Manawatu buyers, Ywdle the top b.f. lambs, and medium lambs mainly remained locally. A very attractive line of b.l lambs were offered Oi account of V.’. G. Eising which realised 15s 9d. and the top line of Mrs I. 31.
