GLARE ON THE HORIZON
GRASS FIRES TO THE SOUTH. Some curiosity was shown by Pahiatua residents late yesterday evening at a red glare in the « , which appeared in two directions towards the south. It- is reported that this was duo to scrub and grass fires which broke* out at Nireaba and Tiraumea. So far no damage has been reported.
