ST. PETER'S GARDEN PARTY.

ARRANGED FOR SATURDAY WEEK. The annual garden party in connection with St. Peter’s Church will be held in the* Vicarage grounds on Saturday, February 18th, from 2 to 6 p.m. There will* be stalls for sale of produce, cakes, sweets, etc., and afternoon tea will be available at a charge of s)d. A number of interesting features will be introduced, some of them entirely new*. One of the chief attractions will be a. baby show for babies up to 18 months of age. A generous anonymous donor has given two prizes of 10s each, one for girls and one for boys. The awarding of the prize will be in the hands of Airs Ives, of Eketahuna. Another attraction for children is a competition for decorated bicycles, for which another generous supporter has donated three prizes, os, 3s and 2s. Then there will be clock golf, chain stepping, archery and a lot of other competitions of which we will toll you moire later.
