John Moses Ravis, Maori, single aged 27, died in hospital as, a result oi severe injuries received in a collision between a cai and bis motorcycle on the Whakatane-Tauranga highway near Pikowai on Friday. An inquest was opened at Whakatane last evening and after evidonee of identification had been given it was adjourned sine die.
