Electric Telegraph—Press Association NEW PL\ MOUTH, Last Night. Go-slow tactics were adopted by watersiders loading the steamer F ordsdale with butter and cheese for British markets at the port of New Plymouth to-day. Two men who worked as volunteers on the intercolonial steamer Gabriella at New Plymouth last month, were engaged at the Moturoa cool stores loading produce into trucks. The watersiders protested against the employment of the two men, held a stop-work meeting and adopted a go-slow policy. 1 lie loading of meat from the Waitara works was not affected. Negotiations are proceeding, but none of the parties will make any statement.
