YOUNG MAN’S DEATH.
GUNSHOT WOUND. Electric Telegraph—Press Association WAIPUKURAU, This Day. The dearth occurred under tragic circumstances in the Poranguh.au district yesterday shortly after midday of Herbert Eric W hite. 29 son ( f well-known settlers. The body was found at the back of a shed on w angaethu station with a. gunshot wound revealed as the cause of death. An inquest was held last evening before AX.?* Thos Hobson, Ji.P. The verdict was that death was caused by means of a gunshot wound selfinflicted while in a depressed state of mind. The evidence showed that deceased suffered from spina! meningitis when aged 15. and had never fullv recovered .
