CAR STRUCK BY TRAIN.

Electric Telegraph-Press Association CARTERTON, September 20 A motor-ear driven by Mr Robert Campbell, of Longbush. was struck iv- north-hound mail Train from VVellingt°n at a private crossing on the Masterton side of the Matarawa station this morning. Mu- Campbell who was the only occupant of the car suffered minor head injuries and a fractured leg. The car was badly damaged.
