The Foreign Office a’ flounces that the King has been graciously pleased to approve the appointment of the Hon. Alexander George Montagu Cadogan, Counsellor in the Foreign Office, to be his Majesty's Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary at Pel-cing. For several years Mr Cadogan has been a member of the League of Nations Department at the Foreign Office, and has been regularly present at the League sitting at Geneva. He succeeds Sir Miles Lainpson. who is leaving Peking to become British High Commissioner in Egvpt.
