Mr Seddon moved the second reading of the Old Ago Pension Bill. Messrs Montgomery, Russell, Mills, Oilfedder, John Hutcheson, Geo. Hutchison, Hogg, Wilson, Richardson, Mason, Flatman, Sligo, Laruach. and Rolleston spoke. The second reading was agreed to by 41 to 11. The House adjourned at 2.10. Legislative Council. The Council met at 2.30. The second reading of the Sunday Labor in Mines Prevention and Explosives Aot Amendment Bills were agreed to and the Council adjourned at 3.10.
