The latter butted first and are all out for 113. Tho Englishmen have lost two wickets for 111. Apf.i. vii»k, December 3. The first innings of South Australia in the match with Victoria closed for 358 — George Gillen, not out, 94. Tho Victorians in their second innings made 134, Hurry being the chief scorer with 54. South Australia, requiring ‘29 runs to win, knocked up tho requisite number without the loss of a wicket, and thus won by ten wu-kets. Wellington won the match against Otago with 54 runs to spare. The following team is to represent Canterbury in the cricket match against Wei lington: —L. A. Luff, H. De Maos, J. N. Fowkc, A. M. Labutt, Medlow. T. 11. North, A. E. Ridlev. 11. C. Ridley. W. Robertson, \V. 0* H. Wlghy and r. Wilding. McGregor’s name was accidentally omitted from the list of players chosen to represent the I'ahiatua second cloven in the junior cup contest with the Woodville imin on Saturday next.
