June B.—During the past fortnight sunshine, rain, and frosts have alternated. There .is deep snow on the high levels. Harvest Festival. —The Harvest Festival was held in the Presbyterian Church on May--27. The church was decorated with the usual gifts, anu there was a good attendance. The sale of goods was held on Tuesday afternoon and evening, and £6O was realised for the missions. Lecture. —On June 4 Rev. Lopdell (Wyndkam) gave a lecture in the Presbyterian Church. The weather was stormy, which prevented many people attending. The subject was the “Experiences of a Chaplain on the Battlefields.”
