KURQW NOTES. In the Ilakataramea and Otiake districts thrashing operations are. being carried on. The wheat in these districts will average about 30 bushels per acre, but the oats and barley will not turn out so well. In some eases they will not average more than 20 bushels. Fruit is now being railed from Otiake in large quantities, and in spite of the scarcity of sugar there is no difficulty in marketing the fruit. One grower will send away about 2000 oases of apricots, besides peaches and apples. Mr Erskine Neave has been appointed manager of the new Kurow Motor Garage and Service Company.
