MOTOR BOAT PATROL.

RECRUITS WANTED. AUCKLAND, June 26. Tho British naval authorities are seeking recruits in the colonies for a branch of naval service which offers plenty of excitement for motor boat men. Commander F. P. Armstrong says:—"Wo want these men to patrol tho coast within a radius of 40 or 50 miles. Some of them will also' be sent into the Mediterranean for the same service. This is a great chance for a man with sporting blood to get into a really exciting game. It is a branch of the service with a bit of romance of the old sen, days still clinging to it. The boats carry other things besides a quick-firing gun, and they arc dangerous to meet."
