A BIG FIRE
SYDNEY, June 24
Fire destroyed Winns (Ltd.) a bulk store in the city. Several adjoining buildings were damaged.
The loss is estimated at £IOO,OOO. June 25
Besides the complete destruction of Messrs Winns (Ltd.) the fire seriously damaged Mr Nolan's dentistry chambers, Goldstein's furniture store, the Commonwealth Furniture Store, and a number of other premises were slightly damaged, while falling walls caused havoc among the telephone wires.
