SHORTAGE OF FOODSTUFF SUPPLIES
SYDNEY, June 9. The shortage in the flour, butter, tea, and sugar supplies is becoming more pronounced, but it is expected that the position regarding the two last-named will shortly be relieved. The strong demand which has set in for lard and_ margarine has advanced the prices for those commodities.
