SHOOTING SENSATION

SYDNEY, June 13. A shooting sensation has taken place on the Surry Hills. A woman named Alice Constance White, a boarding-house keeper, was killed by being shot through the heart. Her assailant, a man named Joseph Hamilton, was a member of the Expeditionary Force, and recently returned from Egypt. He turned the, weapon upon himself, but the wound is not expected to prove fatal. Jealousy is believed to bo the cause of his action.
