LATE MR G. W. PALMER

LONDON, November 19. The will of the late Mr George W. Palmer has been proved at £765,000. Of this £20,000 lias been left to Reading charities. The Rt. Hon. George W. Palmer was born in 1851. He was a biscuit manufacturer, of Reading. In 1888-89 he was Mayor of that borough. He was M.P. from 1892 to 1895. He was again elected for Reading in 1898, and remained in Parliament until 1904.
