CO-OPERATIVE METHODS
PARIS, November 20. The workmen’s co-operative glass factory at Paris has been obliged to close its doors despite the fact that it is overrun with orders, and has received the active support of trade unions. The men are unable to agree among themselves, and strikes are almost of weekly occurrence. The managing committee is composed exclusively of workmen, who are alleged to be harder upon the men than any private employer.
