DOMESTIC TRAGEDY
NEW YORK, January 25. _ John Drost, a farm hand, shot his i father dead. When arrested at Northbend : (Washington State) he said: "I shot him because I am Americanised. If we had still lived in Holland I would not have
done it, but here is the greatest country on earth, and no jury will convict me when I tell them my motive." A daughter, in attempting to save her father, was badly wounded.
