INDIAN AFFAIRS.
CALCUTTA, June 17.
The Government has instructed the Commissioner of Burdwan, besides inquiring into the conduct of all concerned in the, Midnapore prosecution, to note everything throwing light upon the existence of a conspiracy against the Government and on the persons involved, whether they were recently tried or not. Indications ai'e that the Government does not accept the High Court's recent judgment as implying that no conspiracy existed.
LONDON, June 16. Several witnesses at the Midnapore inquiry accuse the police of providing means for outrages.
