GERMAN NAVY LEAGUE.

BERLIN, June 15

Grand Admiral yon Koester, in addressing the Brandenburg section of the Navy League at Potsdam, declared that Germany was- taking her place as the second strongest of the European nations . on sea. Let them strive to keep that position in view of the navy's import- j anco in the development of the Father- \ land and of its economic interests.

The meeting telegraphed to the Kaiser a promise to -digitate for the strengthening of the fleet with a view to making it a mighty instrument for protecting the Fatherland and for the maintenance ot peace.
