; Me<==r« Stronach. Morris and Co. report having held their n-ual monthly sale of L stock at. Waikouaiti. on Thursday. 10th 1 in=t.. when thore was only a moderate ' yarding forward, and prices were easier ! for all clap e -es of stock, no doubt the cau^e . ' being the continued ilrv weathor which has , been exnerienced in the district for some t time. The following are a few of the prices p obtained for the respective- clashes of stock , offered:— Dairy cows, £4 4s to £3 10s, [ several from £3 to £2 10s; ai?ed coiX-s, £1 10s to £2; two-year-old steer.-, £3 11s " to £2; yearlings, £1 Is; and calve*, 10s. Messrs Stronach, Morris, and Co. report having held thei* usual monthly sale at 3 ' Evansdele on Friday, 11th inst., when j there was a large yarding of cattle of all ' classes. The day turned out very rough, 1 with h,eavy showers, and there was only a jmoderate attendance of farmers in the district, while the number •of outside + ' buyers 'was also very limited. Nevertheless I there was a full clearance of the yarding c I at the following prices:— Dairy cows com- ? ! ing to profit, £5 to £4 10s; heifers at '• profit, £4 10s to £4; light heifore, £3 15s '' to £3; aged cows, £2 7s 6d to £2; bonere, y 15s to 20s J yearling eteere, £2 2s to £1; ' i cftivee, 10s tft M^ ixilloflkfi, £4 to £2 10s.
They also report having sold on account of j trie Public Trustee, in the estate of the ' , late Harriet Parke, section 76, block I, North Harbour and Blueskin district, containing 20 acres, more or less, at as satisfactory price, the purchaser being Mr John Hill-
