Saxton, secretary North Canterbury Centre, for oonodemtion by the northern body/ The following is the full text 'of the arrangements for January next- — , . CHAMPION EXHIBITION KINK TOURNAMENT. (bpen to all clubs affiliated to an •88©cia*ion.) (Entries, 10s per player, dose January 3, 1907. First round starts 8 a.m. Monday, January 14. Prizes. Fihst winners in each, section will compete for the following: — First Prize— Trophies oi the value of £4, 4s each and certificate suitably framed, with the names of winners engrossed thereon — one for each member of tlxe -winning link, and one for their club. Second Prize— Trophies oi the value of £2 2s each and framed certificate. Third Priae— Trophies of the value of £1 10s each and framed certificate. Fourth Prize— Four certificates suitably framed. Sectional Prize — Certificates suitably framed to any club which wins a section, but does not win a prize. Second winners in each section will play off for — First Prize — Trophies of the value of £3 3s each and framed certificate with the names of players engrossed thereon — one for each member of the winning rink, and one for the club. Synopsis of Play (weather permitting). — Monday, January 14 — Backs, two games each division. Tuesday, 15th — Rinks, two games each division. Wednesday, 16th — Rinks, two games each division. Thursday, 17th — Rinks, two games each division ; and any tics in order to decide the first, second, and third winners of each section. Friday, ISth — Four rounds 'Vudden death" by various sectional winners, and in afternoon first round of tho Double?. Saturday, 19th— Fnsfii* of -Rink Tournament mni continuation of Doubles.

Entry Pees.— Rink Tournament, 10s per player; Singles, S3 per player; Doubles, 2s 6d pcx player. Order. The Rink Tournament -will be played as follows:— Entries divided into. sectienß of eight, and -clubs entering more than one rink to be distributed equitably through sections, and sections divided "into two divisions. Seven games to be played— viz., each rink to play every other rink in tb» same section. The first, seeoud, and third winners of each section shall thus be mscartained. These winners will then constitute three guides, and. play off separately for their respective trophiem detailed elsewhere, bat no games shall, either exceed 21 heads or two and «-imlf hours. 3.
