LEMON SYRUP.
This makes a most refreshing drink, and is nice to have in the house in the warm weather. Bring to the boil 61b of lump sugar, Jib of tartaric crystals, and two quarts of water. When cold, add two drachms of oil of lemon, and bottle. It will keep any length of time.
