(From Our. Own Cosees?okdekt.j <;REY"MOrTH, M^-ch 10. To-inorro\v' s icUinis will be aP-iouid good, i TJie ToUra Fiat dreage is gelta'g into tiie '

flat, but it will be a couple of wepks before mu'-li improvement is made. Nuggety gold is now being obtamsd in ths Blackwater River claim.

The North Beach will be idle for a fortnight repairing. Last week's yield was 14oz 17dwtThe Greenstone Creek diedge is on goocl wash, which looks like lasting for %onie time. The Nelson Creek claim shows very little sign of improvement. Last week's yield was under 19oz. New Fedider sen's shares had a tendency to lift during the week, and the master is anticipating a revival. GREYMOUTH, March 12. The share market shows an inclination to improve, although there is not the slightest chance of inflated prices being obtained. Blackwater Rivers are rising, and Jamieson's Rewards have also sprung a couple of shillings, but) are still much below par. In tha days of the boom, with such excellent returns, the Jamieson's shares would have been at least £4 instead of but 7s to Bs. The Jamieson's Reward dredge last week gave another 78oz, enabling the directors to declare a dividend (the third) within three weeks. The prospects are better, possibly, than ever, but the ground is, of course, pptchy. The Blackwater River dredge gave 630z lldwt for 120 hours. The face now worked is an excellent one, and. so far as can be gauged, is likely to continue so for many months. The claim has the most permanent appearance of any dredging undertaking on the Coast. The Mokoia returns are improving slowly but steadily, and it is thought the dredge is working up to much better ground. Last week's return was 30oz 7dwt. The Pactolus No. 1 dredge got 240z for 130 hours. No. 2 is still repairing, but should get a start this week. The Buller Junction dredge started work after a thorough overhaul on Thursday. The Callaghan s Creek dredge got 20ioz for 130 hours from the poorer side of the face. The Slate Hut dredge should get a start in a month. The old Kangaroo dredge is being put on by Mr Cable, of "Wellington, who takes the amount out in shares. The capital is a small one, and the prospects are regarded as good. The Moonlight dredge got soz. There is no alteration to record.
