THE STATE COAL MINE.
A TEMPORARY CLOSING DOWN. WESTPORT, March 6. The working agreement between the management and the Miners' Union at the Seddonville State mine expired on Saturday, and the miners, is is understood, declined to renew it, necessitating fhe closing down of th© mine to-day. Mr Bishop (manager of ths State mines) is expected from Gr-ey-mosit-h in the morning, and it is hoped an amicable settlement of the difficulty will b& effected.
