OWAKA STOCK SALE.
The Otago Farmers' Co-operative Association of -New Zealand (Limited) report: We held our usual fortnightly stock sale at our yards, Owaka, on Friday, the 9th inst., when there was a good yarding of stock and a splendid attendance of farmers, and others. We yarded 93 head cattle, several pens sheep and pigs. ; Steers realised from £4 to £5 17s 6d; dry heifers, M to £4 10a; cows and heifers in 1 calf, £4 10s to £5 10s; three-year-old steers, ' up to £7 7s; 12 to 18 months' steers and heifers, £2 14s to £3; pigs and sheep at satisfactory prices.
