CANTERBURY.
The S.C. Board of Education resolved that in cases where tho Government health officer demands expensive alterations to rchools the Education Department should give some financial assistance. The chairman of the board remarked that he thought the Premier had needlessly insulted education boards by threatening to send incidental grants to committees direct.
