WELLINGTON.
Thco. R. Lichtwork pleaded "Guilty" at Hawera to a breach of the P.O. Act in that ho had signed a statement that he had sent a letter to his wife containing £5. The wife complained to the Post Office authorities that she had not received it, and defendant afterwards admitted he had not sent it. Liohtwork was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. '-
