CANTERBURY RUGBY UNION.

CHRTSTCHURCH, June 18

The Canterbury Rugby Union to-day disqualified one player for the remainder of the season, and another for 12 months, for bad behaviour in a match last Thursday — Co-operative v. Post and Telegraph. The union held a long inquiry into the row at Kaiapoi last Saturday, in the Merivale--Kaiapoi match, and adjourned to hear the defence of one alleged offender.
