OPHIR GOLD DREDGING COMPANY, LIMITED (In Liquidation).
TO THE EDITOB. Six, — " Curious " asks for information re the above. I am pleased to be able to inform him that he will, not have long to wait for the dividend, which I hop© will be a first -and final, and as satisfactory as was to be expected. Shareholders are, I think, through want of I knowledge of the surrounding circumstances, I apt to expect too much at the hands of liquidators, and if " Curious' s " letter intends to convey the impression that there has been unnecessary delay in this instance, I would like to assure him as well as the other shareholders generally that such is not the case. All has been done that could be done to expedite the liquidation, and the silence on the part of the liquidators has been deemed advisable to, 'as far as possible, prevent any shareholders being taken advantage'of. — I am, etc., W. E. Reynolds " . ■ (For the ' Liquidators). Dunedin, November 20.
