REEFTON, February 17. Returns. — Buller dredge, 260z 7dwt for 15 days; Consolidated dredge, 20oz of gold for 45 days.

Big River. — Since last repoit an eastern cioftsciit has been driven 10ft. There is no improvement in the ground. A western crosscut has been driven 12ft in good-looking ground in No. 2 level. The crosscut has been driven a total distance of 13ft without any result. The winze in the surface tunnel has been sunk 3ft. The . reef is broken up into stringers with hard sandstone walls.
