OWAKA STOCK SALE.
Messrs Maclean and Co. report Having held 1 their monthly sale at M'lntyre's yards, on ' Friday, 14th inst. The weather was simply, terrible, but despite this fact, the entry was" a fair one, consisting of 80 head of. cattle and 16 pigs. The attendance of buyers and farmers was only moderate, but those present;' stuck manfully to their guns, and the sale, taking all things into consideration, was very satisfactory. We sold: ForJVlessrs R. Crawford, F. Pollock, A. Moncufr, Jno. Thomaoa, J. Oughton, J. Callaghan (junr), A. Allan, W. Wilson, C. Columb, W. Allan, W. Horan, Dabinett, Mrs M'Latchie and others, steers, at £2 7s to £4 ss ; heifers, at £1 13s to £4 ;f rows, at £2 2s to £5; calves, at 16s; pigs, afc 10s 6d to 12a.
