GORE STOCK SALES.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) GORE, April 18. Six thousand four hundred sheep were yarded. The bulk were very inferior. There wa.-i but little demand, and a large number were turned out unsold. Good sheep sold all right, but there was no demand for culls. Best young ewes sold, up to 11s 6d; other sorts from 63 upwards. Store wethers were scarce, anl in good demand. Only a small number were yarded, and these sold from 10s to 12s 3d. Best lambs to 8s 6d; medium, 6s to 7s Gd, small, 4s to ss; -small two-tooth sheep brought 8s to 9s. Eighty head of cattle were yarded, but the bulk of the entry was unsold. A lot of Leicester rams were yarded, for which there were practically no buyers.
