GRAIN AND PRODUCE REPORT.
Messrs Wm. E. Reynolds and Co., Bond street, report for the week ending 21st September as follows : — Wheat. — Market remains without alteration of any kind, and we repeat quotations: Prim© velvet, up to 4s Id ; Tuscan, up to 4s ; red sorts, up to 33 lOd; fowl feed from 2s 9d to 3s Id. Oats. — There has been a slightly improved demand .experienced recently, although prices cannot be said to have advanced any. We quote: Milling sparrowbills, 2s 2|d; best feed, 2s Id to 2s l£d ; ordinary, Is lid to 2s ; seed lines are moving off freely at up to 2s 7d. Potatoes. — Arrivals have been rather heavier of late, and buyers are operating with great caution, and do not seem inclined to stock at over £6 15s. Chaff, if of prime quality, still maintains its price of £3 15b; while fair to medium is not eaaily disposed of from £3 to £3 10s. Seeds. — We are now booking orders freely .'or all classes, both imported and colonial, of which we have an exceptionally nice assortment. Wa shall be pleased to send samples and quotations to any of our friends who may desire same. Our prices will be found low as compared with others.
