SODA CAKE.

Half a pound of butter, lib flour, a pinch of salt, £lb picked and dried currants, Jib sugar, half a grated nutmeg, a teaspoonful of carbonate of soda in a teacupful of warm milk, threo eggs, Jib candied peel.
