TO MAKE GLAZE.
Glaze, which is most useful to have by one, is made by putting a large amount of ordinary kitchen stock into a saucepan and boiling it down till quite a small quantity is left, which will be a dark brown colour, and about the same consistency as half-melted glue; it becomes quite hard when cold, and a small piece can > be cut off and melted for use when required.
