EXPLOSIONS IN MINES.
FOURTEEN MEN ENTOMBED IN NEW SOUTH WALES. Newcastle, March 21. An explosion has occurred in the Dudley Colliery at Charleston by which 14 men are imprisoned. There is a very remote chance of rescuing them, as the shaft has collapsed, nnd it will be some hours before it can be sufficiently secured to permit oE assistance being sent nelow. The first loscue party found fchc mine a scene of devastation. There were no siges of the entombed men. Madrid, March 20. By a terrible explosion in the Igabell*mine, Cordova, 70 miners were killed.
