Constantinople, November 23. Sir Philip Currie, British Ambassador, has informed the Porte that England would not tolerate the arbitrary treatment of the Rev. Mr M'Oallam. Fifty of the leading Armenians in Constantinople have been sentenced to be hanged. PAms, November 23. Abbe* Fremont, in an eloquent sermon at the Madeleine, appealed to France to relieve Armenia. Hundreds of his hearers were moved to tears. Cardinal Richard declared that tbe connoience of France was awakening, and that the nation would see that the hateful system of persecution and massacre was brought to a close.
