Auckland, June 2. The directors of the Huanui - Oceana Gold Mining Oompauy have accepted an offer to form a company on the following terms :— The capital to be £150,000, the purchasers to provide a working capital of £20,000 ; present shareholders to receive 55,000 shares (paid up) and £4500 in cash, shares and cash to be net ; three months' tnne allowed for flotation ; £500 deposit within a ilionth. A cablegram has been received stating that a contract for the sale of the Waitai property has been signed ou the terms already made public. A cablegram has been received by Sir W. H. Churton stating that the sale of E'lwin Norman's property has been completed. The prica is not stated. The capital of the company is £75,000. The property comprises 8!) acres aijoining the Jewel. The directors of the Golden Fleece Gold Mining Company decided to accept amended terms by those who have undertaken to ilo.it the property on the English market. At a mjeting of the Mataura Gold Mining Company the directors were empowered to acquire the adjoining ground, in order to place the combined areas under offer for flotation oa the London marked Auckland, June 3. Hauraki South and Maorilands each advanced owin^ to good news from London regaiding the flotation. Many of cheaper stocks also sold freely at better rates. The Kipai Ve.rmont crushr-d 286 tons of ore for 2410z gold. The reef is making stronger on the nppsr level south face. A Hauraki South cable from London Htatejthat the company is already formed, and will issue in afew days. A Majuland cabl.j from London stated that the contract for the tale is already signed, and that all the details are satisfactorily arranged, and will be issued ia a few days. The shares of both companies have advanced. Auckland, June 8. The "Waitekauri, for five week-.' operations with a 10 stamper battery, fiom the Golden Cro3S suction, treated 174 tons ore for a yield of bullion valued at £978.
