Notes from Auckland.

Auckland, June 2. The directors of the Huanui - Oceana Gold Mining Oompauy have accepted an offer to form a company on the following terms :— The capital to be £150,000, the purchasers to provide a working capital of £20,000 ; present shareholders to receive 55,000 shares (paid up) and £4500 in cash, shares and cash to be net ; three months' tnne allowed for flotation ; £500 deposit within a ilionth. A cablegram has been received stating that a contract for the sale of the Waitai property has been signed ou the terms already made public. A cablegram has been received by Sir W. H. Churton stating that the sale of E'lwin Norman's property has been completed. The prica is not stated. The capital of the company is £75,000. The property comprises 8!) acres aijoining the Jewel. The directors of the Golden Fleece Gold Mining Company decided to accept amended terms by those who have undertaken to ilo.it the property on the English market. At a mjeting of the Mataura Gold Mining Company the directors were empowered to acquire the adjoining ground, in order to place the combined areas under offer for flotation oa the London marked Auckland, June 3. A cablegram has been received announcing the completion of the sale of the Waihi-Gladstone in London The Waihi-GUdistone comprises the uladstone, Salisbury, and Joker cUims, contiguous to the Waihi Silverton and Union Waihi properties. The capital of the new company is £100,000. with a working capital of £25,000. The vendoi'3 receive £25,000 in cash and paid-up shares. The balance of the cash is to be paid into the Bank of New Zealand, London, on Moaday and «have 3 allotted Auckland, Juue 5. Mr Mois Davis, in whuse hands negotiations for the flotntipn of the May Queen were placed, to-day advised the directors of the company that he had completed the sale of the property to the An«lo-Contineutal Gold Syndicate. The forms imposed by Mr Gordon were ai follows :— CipUal, £200,000 iv £1 shares, present shareholders receiving 82,000 fully paid-up shares ; working capital £30,100, to be provided by the purchasing company -to be paid as follows: (1) £7500 cash down, balance as required. (2) Titles to the property to be held by the Bank of New Zealand, Auckland, until the whole working capital

is provided by the purchasing company. The vendors' shares to be pooled pro rata with the English shares for nine months, at a price of not les3 than 20s per share. The agreement is in no way to interfere or -hinder local thareholders f,rom dealing In their prasent shares on the Auckland market during the currency of the pooling. A Hauraki South cable from London Htatejthat the company is already formed, and will issue in afew days. A Majuland cabl.j from London stated that the contract for the tale is already signed, and that all the details are satisfactorily arranged, and will be issued ia a few days.
