Suifaca Work. — Compressor has been running during the latter part of the week. The removal of overburden at No. 1 bench has boen actively carried on, exposing good face of pyrites. An ore bin at foot of haulage line and opposite approach to No. 4 tunnel has been started and is nearly completed. At site of new assay office the brickwork for furnaces has been staited Progress Report. -- Smelter building practically completed f.>r some time past. Mac iinery in wo' king order. Electric light plant neaily completed, only awaiting arrival of last parts. i Railway Engineer's Report.— The whole of the works are in a very forward state. Earthworks will be very shortly completed, and are entirely confined to two cuttings in Hall's creek. Two i shifts are working at the foundations ot the ! Queen bridge, and only one pier remains to complete.
