Messrs Tothili,, Watson, and Co report having heH their fortnightly htock sala at the Invercargill saleyards on Tuesday. The entries in nil classed were large, more especially of store sheep and cuttle. Owing to the large entries prices realised were not equal to last sales, and a good many lots were turned out unsold. Fat Cattla.— 72 head yard«d. Only a few good lot* forward. Best bullocks, extra prime, brought £10 Vh; medium to good, £7 5a to £8 17s tsd; light, £5 15s ; speyed cows, £8 si ; best cows, £6 17a 6d ; good, £6 10* to £5 17a 6d ; medium and light, £5 7« 61 to £4. Fat Sheep —638 pena*d. Best wethers, 14s 4d to Us 7d ; medium to pood, 8s 6d to 10s ; best ewea, 9s 5d ; good, 8s to 84 4d ; medium, 6s to 7s 3d ; ewes and wethers (mixed), 10s 3d. Store Sheep.— 37B7 penned. Bei>t wethera, 9s 9d ; mixed two-tooth, On 3d to 7s ; lambs, 5s fid to 7a 2d ; aged ewes, 2s to 3s. Store Cattle —350 head yarded. Two-year-old steers, £3 10s; thr-e-year-old do, £3 to £4 10s ; two-year-old heif.rs, 40a ; yearlicgs, 35a to 40s ; calve?, 20a to 235 ; cows in calf, £3 12s 6d to £5 ; dry cows, 40s to 57s 6d. Private Sales. — Duiicg the week we sold a line of 504 crossbred breeding ewe 3at a -satisfactory price. Freezing Skins. — During the week we sold a line of 1200 croß*bred skin* and another of 500 lambskins at satisf ictory prices.
