THE LONDON WOOL MARKET.
The British and New Zealand Mortgage and Agency Company (Limited) have received tho following telegram from Messrs Helmuth Schwartzo and Co., London, dated 24th inst. :— ♦
Prices for all good wools are well maintained ; for inferior and faulty prices are in favour of buyers. Our next sale will be held on 30th.
Messrs Murray, Roberts, and Co. are in receipt of the following cablegram, dated London, March 24th :—
Western fleece selling well ; good greasy merino good combing scoured, Id above opening rates; inferior merino, Jd below opening ra'es; lambs', priceß aro irregular; coarse crossbred, Id below opening rates ; fine crossbred, market firm. Next sales fixed to commence on the 16th May, and they will be limited to 350,000 bales, new arrivals.
