WAIPORI.
We (Tapanui Courier) are informed that two experienced miners have arrived from Melbourne and commenced preparations for the working of the antimony reef in the neighbourhood of Waipori. They purpose smelting the ore on the spot, and thus saving the enormous exnense of cirtage that would be entailed by carrying it over a very rough country to the seaport. The reef is situated np the Waipori River some miles above the township, and we understand hag been traced, for a distance of three miies.
