The Russians retired -without interfering "with the Bokharan Government. The Earl of Clarendon is seriously indisposed. Two Fenian leaders have been sentenced to death in Canada. . . The Times urgea the re-consideration of the claims of the United States with regard to the Alabama case. : Mr Bright ha 3 delivered great speeches, to large assemblages,, in Dublin, on Irish grievances'. ' : Cholera is decreasing. The ■ Cattle Plague has almost disappeared. • Napoleon 111. has returned to Paris in lather better health. M. Thouvenel, formerly Foreign Minisc i of Fran ce, has died. ' Baron Yon Beust, who is personally obnoxious to the King of Prussia, has been appointed the Austrian Foreign Minister. 1 It is rumored that an alliance has taken place between Russia and Prussia, while Italy and Austria are in friendly relation. The Pope has delivered two orations. His Holiness is prepared to leave Rome, if necessary. ' There are rumors of Ministerial changes in France. They include the retirement of M. Fould and Marshal Randon. A Committee has been appointed to study and report upon the re- organisation of the French army. The French squadron, for bringing back the troops from Rome, is ready for sea. ■ Seventy-five thousand Irish emigrated to America in the past seven months of the present year. Captain Palmer, aa English gentleman, prevented the accomplishment of the design, and handed the suspected assassin over to the Police. The Austrian opposition establishment of Jesuits has been expelled from Italy. • The treaty of peace between Austria and Italy was ratified on the 6th October, and on the 9th Peschiera and other fortresses were handed over.
