The Minister of Justice, the Hon. H. G. R. Mason, announced the following appointments of justices of the peace in the Opunake Times circulation area:— Mr. Leslie Herbert Des Forges: William Puri Roach; Edward Joseph Wallis, Opunake.
Mr. and Mrs. T. Eedin, ret'Tiied to Opunake on Thursda}' after an enjoyable seven months holiday in Australia. Wt received a Booklet from Mr. Eedin entitled "The Australian Aborigines." These Booklets are issued in Australia for educational purposes. Anyone interested may obtain a copy, from Mr. Eedin or the Opunake Times Office.
