OFFICERS INSTALLED GIFTS FOE BRIDE-TO-BE » »i i The usual fortnightly meeting of the Rebekah Lodge was held in the St. Patrick's Hall last Tuesday. There was an attendance of 35 Sisters. Hostesses were Sisters M. McSweeney, M. McCrone and A Mann. Birthday sprays were t presented .to Sisters N. Ranford and H. Arokeii. Bro. Buhner, D.D.G.M. and his staff of officers from Hawera installed the new officers in their respective chairs for the ensuring G months. Then on behalf of the Sisters he made a presentation of a medal to Sister D. Allan in recognition of her long service as lodge secretary. After supper the Noble Grand, Sister, A. Bay lis presented Sister A. Faulkner with a shoulder spray and asked her to accept the many gifts which the Sisters had brought along. Mr. E. Rowlands replied, thanking the members for their gilts, which he .aid Audrey were very pleased to accept. ~ Competition results : Blooms : Sisters A. Stark 1, G. Sinclair and W. Faull equal 2, D.
