SPRING CUP ROUND B. PEAT’S STABLEFORD Conditions were good for golf over the week-end and members made full use of the links. On Sunday the first round of the Spring Cup was played, with a Stableford in conjunction and a number of good cards were returned. B. Peat winning with 86.
Results were, ’first round: B. Peat beat H. Turu, 4/2; C. Trotter beat G. Snell, 3/2; C. Bowater beat S.'Hutchen, 4/2; G. Feaver beat J. Hooper, 3/2; H. Otene beat K. Hepburn, 5/3; B. Jenkins beat G. Jackson, 4/3; C. Burton beat L. Des Forges, 2/1; D. Watt beat N. Sorenson, 4/3.
