WOMEN'S DIVISION

AWATUNA BRANCH 19th BIRTHDAY Mrs. T. McCarrison presided at a 19th birthday party. Presidents of visiting branches and past executive officers were presented with shoulder sprays by Mrs. McCarrison. The birthday cake was made bv Mrs. M. Bourke and iced by Mrs. Ross. Mrs. Hutchings, Eltham, the first secretary, lighted the candles, which were blown out bv tfrs. Bourke. Mrs. M. W. Barker, first president, cut the cake. The programme was: Competition quiz: Miss D. Bridgeman; song competition, personalities, won bv Mis. White, Oaonui; song, Mrs. Ramsay Boyd; tap dance, Misses L. McLeod and P. Massey; sketch, Te. Kiri. Women's Institute; tap dance, Misses D. Campbell . and B. Wadsworth. Accompaniments were played by Mrs. L. D. Niccolls and Miss A. Collins.

Shoulder sprays were presented to Mesdames McLeod, Ross, M. Bourke, Morrison and Dodunski.
